Drinking hemp is probably the oldest use humans ever made of it. Done well, it is a soft, accessible format. Done badly, it is just flavoured water.
Why a fat carrier is non-negotiable
CBD is fat-soluble. A plain hot-water infusion extracts almost no cannabinoids. Always add a fat:
- Whole milk.
- Plant cream (oat, coconut).
- A knob of butter or MCT oil.
Standard brew
- Bring water and fat to a simmer (not a hard boil).
- Add one to two spoons of hemp/herb blend per cup.
- Steep covered 10-15 minutes.
- Strain, sweeten if desired.
Common companion plants
- Chamomile — classic evening blend.
- Lemon balm — soft citrus.
- Verbena — fresh, slightly tart.
- Linden — woody body that balances hemp's grassy notes.
The Horus stance
We work with French artisans on hemp + herb blends, no synthetic flavours. In Boulogne-sur-Gesse and L'Isle-en-Dodon we always explain the fat-carrier rule before any sale: that detail separates a useful tea from a placebo.
To go further: CBN, a natural fit for evening rituals, or a premium flower you can also infuse.
CBD is not a medicine. Sold exclusively to adults (≥ 18), non-medical use.
