CBD vaping was born from the meeting of e-cigarettes and CBD isolate. It is now a format in its own right with its own codes, strengths and limits. Worth knowing what you actually inhale before starting.
Why some prefer vaping
One word: bioavailability. Inhaled, the molecule passes from alveoli to bloodstream, giving a short onset (minutes) and a quick return to baseline. Useful for spot use where oils work over hours.
- No combustion, no tar.
- Discreet, low residual smell.
- Wide range of flavours and terpene profiles.
PG/VG base
- Propylene glycol (PG) — fluid, carries flavour, stronger throat hit.
- Vegetable glycerine (VG) — thicker, more vapour, softer hit.
- Most e-liquids use a mix (50/50 or 70/30). PG intolerance, rare but real, points to 100 % VG.
Hardware precautions
- Never vape a sublingual oil — only e-liquids formulated for vaping go in an e-cigarette.
- Coil 0.8-1.5 ohm, moderate wattage. Sub-ohm power burns terpenes.
- Clean often — CBD e-liquids gunk faster than nicotine ones.
The Horus stance
The vape segment is saturated with low-cost, opaque-source products. We pick FR/EU e-liquids with batch analyses and readable ingredient lists. Vape is a complementary format for us, not the core. In Boulogne-sur-Gesse and L'Isle-en-Dodon we also point you to specialist vape shops for hardware.
To go further: understanding CBN, or CBG in full-spectrum e-liquids.
CBD is not a medicine. Sold exclusively to adults (≥ 18), non-medical use.
