The CBD flower is the oldest and most direct format: it is the plant itself, dried, sometimes trimmed, and nothing else. No extraction, no heavy processing — just raw material speaking for itself.
Why the flower remains the king format
A well-grown hemp flower concentrates everything that makes Cannabis sativa L. rich: cannabinoids, terpenes, flavonoids. No other format preserves this full profile as faithfully. That is why exacting users keep coming back to it.
Three markers separate a decent flower from a premium one:
- Density — a firm, compact bud signals a well-fed plant slowly cured.
- The trichome coat — those crystal heads visible under a loupe are where cannabinoids sit.
- The nose — opening a jar should release a clear olfactory signature: citrus, pine, red fruit or damp earth depending on the cultivar.
Indica, sativa, hybrid: what these labels still mean
Modern crossbreeding has eroded the strict botanical split, but the terms remain useful aromatic markers. Most current genetics are hybrids — read the terpene profile when available rather than relying on the label alone.
Storing flowers properly
- Opaque or amber glass jar, airtight.
- Away from direct light, cool and stable temperature (15-20 °C).
- Relative humidity 58-62 % — a humidity pack extends shelf life.
The Horus stance
We refuse irradiated, CBD-sprayed flowers, which dominate the online low-cost segment. Our selections come from traceable European farms, slowly cured, hand-trimmed when grade allows. Cost is higher; the jar tells the difference. You can smell it in person at our Boulogne-sur-Gesse or L'Isle-en-Dodon shops — we always let you sniff before buying.
To go further: Permanent Marker, premium flower with complex terpenes, or Crazy Amnesia for citrus sativa lovers.
CBD is not a medicine. Sold exclusively to adults (≥ 18), non-medical use.
