Horus is a French house dedicated to premium CBD, founded by people who refuse the race to the bottom on price. Our conviction: CBD has its place in the wellness routines of many adults, provided it's offered honestly, without therapeutic claims, in products genuinely selected for their quality. That's what we try to do every day, from our two shops in Haute-Garonne.

Why we exist

The French CBD market built itself in just a few years on permanent promotion, aggressive opening prices and bloated catalogues. That logic has a hidden cost: average quality has collapsed, regulatory confusion has benefited the least scrupulous, and the customer has been left without bearings. Many people walk into our shops saying « I bought CBD online, it didn't smell of anything, I gave up ». That's the ecosystem we inherited — and try, at our scale, to change.

Horus exists to offer a simple alternative: fewer references, better chosen, traceable, never oversold. We accept not being the cheapest on the market. We refuse, on the other hand, to pass off a low-cost outdoor flower as premium indoor, or to sell pressed dry-sift as Italian piatella. This honesty is our only real differentiating asset.

Our concrete commitments

• Hand-curated selection. Every variety is tested before joining the catalogue: nose on opening, visual examination of the trichomes, combustion or vaporisation test. A large part of what we're offered is refused. What passes the filter, we keep because we're convinced.
• Batch-level traceability. All our products come with their certificate of analysis, available on request for online purchases, physically present in shop. THC strictly below 0.3% in line with French regulation (decree of 30 December 2021).
• Strict regulatory compliance. No therapeutic claims. No « anti-stress », « pain relief » or « anti-inflammatory » messaging. No targeting of minors. CBD is not a medicine — we systematically remind that.
• Information without jargon. Our editorial Journal publishes long, sourced articles without sensationalism. We'd rather explain what a terpene is than sell a promised effect. An informed reader is our best customer.

Our expertise

The Horus team combines more than fifteen years of cumulative experience in specialty retail, natural product sourcing and online commerce. We continuously train on phytocannabinoid science (terpenes, minor cannabinoids, consumption methods, interactions), European hemp regulation (CJEU Kanavape ruling, French 2021 decree, subsequent case law), and best practices of honest commerce.

On sensitive topics — drug interactions, pregnancy, driving, minors — we systematically refer back to healthcare professionals. Our editorial articles are reviewed to ensure no statement could be read as medical advice. If you're on medication, talk to your doctor before any CBD use: it's the only responsible answer we can give.

Our physical shops

Horus operates two shops in Haute-Garonne, welcoming individual customers with self-service browsing and personalised advice:

• Horus Boulogne-sur-Gesse — in the heart of the village, easy access from the D632. Advice across the full selection, aromatic tasting on request, online order pickup.
• Horus L'Isle-en-Dodon — close to the centre, free parking. Same services as Boulogne, identically trained team.

Our editorial commitment

The Horus Journal is our information organ. We publish long-form articles (1500 words minimum), structured around nine thematic silos: strains, molecules and terpenes, product formats, uses, wellness, consumption methods, legal framework, comparisons, legal THC and gummies. Every article is written by our editorial team, with no therapeutic claims, in an information rather than prescription register.

We publish at a regular pace of 3 to 5 days between articles. No spam, no chain-generated content. If you spot a claim that seems off or a missing nuance, contact us — we'll fix it. The Journal is also a space for dialogue.

CBD remains a domain where trust is everything. Our customers trust us on product selection, on information transparency, on advice quality. It's a responsibility we take seriously.
