The oral spray is less known than the oil dropper, but it has its fans: one press, dosed, fast, discreet. A small format with real specifics.
How it works
An oral spray sends a fine mist of CBD extract diluted in a carrier (MCT oil, vegetable glycerine, sometimes alcohol). Part is absorbed through the oral mucosa, part is swallowed. Overall bioavailability lands between a well-held sublingual oil and a plain capsule.
Versus a dropper: dosing is more regular (each press delivers a calibrated volume), the gesture is faster in company.
Who is it for
- Frequent users on the move — train, office, restaurants.
- Beginners who want a clear dose — each press = X mg.
- Users who dislike a full-spectrum raw taste — sprays often have light flavour.
Reading an honest label
- Total CBD concentration of the bottle.
- CBD per press.
- Carrier and full ingredient list.
Format limits
The spray is not magic: it does not bypass pharmacology. Significant share goes via digestion, so the felt onset is sometimes later than a well-held sublingual oil. For pure fast onset, the vape stays ahead.
The Horus stance
In our shops in Boulogne-sur-Gesse and L'Isle-en-Dodon, we recommend the spray for those who need discretion and gesture repeatability.
To go further: sublingual oils.
